Cameroon Anglophone Crisis - Army Starts A Training Seminar On How To Win The Fight Between The Military and Ambazonian Activists

In front of the limits of the traditional fight against the secessionists, 35 personnel of the armed forces impregnate the military actions of influence in Douala

The four-day training seminar was opened on 23 January 2018 by General Salli Mohamadou, commander of the 2nd Joint Military Region.

The conventional approach of fighting with weapons to counter attacks by secessionists in the north-west and south-west of the country is obviously not enough. For the last three months, the defense and security forces have been at the forefront of fighting the separatists. According to officers, we must now associate other actions.

According to Captain Samuel Sylvain Ndoutoumou, "the military actions of influence are actions carried out by the defense forces in order to win the hearts and minds, to attach the support and the support of the populations and thus consolidate the army-nation link, "explains the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
