Police Seize 1.9kg Of Cocaine At Airport

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers intercepted a consignment of narcotic drugs at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Saturday.

The 1.9-kilogramme drug, valued at Sh5 million, had been concealed in the soles of women's shoes in transit to the Netherlands from Uganda.

Samples were drawn and taken to a KRA laboratory for analysis.
The results confirmed that the drug was cocaine.
