Man stones brother to death in adultery dispute.

NYANGA: A MAN was recently arrested by police after he stoned his brother to death during a fist fight on their way from a beer drink.

The now late Charles Chibhoma, 34, allegedly accused Pamhidzai Chibhoma, 26, of having an extra marital affair with his wife.

Manicaland police spokesperson Inspector Enock Chishiri said Pamhidzai is in police custody for stoning his brother Charles to death.

On the day in question, it is reported that the two brothers left their homestead in Magadu Village at around 11 am and went for a beer drink in Mozambique.

On their way back at around 18.30 hrs, Charles accused Pamhidzai of having an extra marital affair with his wife and a misunderstanding ensued.

The two reportedly exchanged harsh words and this degenerated into a fist fight.

When Pamhidzai noticed that he was being overpowered he picked a stone and hit Charles once in the head.

Charles fell down to the ground and became unconscious. Pamhidzai ran and informed his father what had transpired.

They rushed to the scene of the incident ferried Charles to Regina Coeli Mission Hospital.

His condition deteriorated and was transferred to Nyanga hospital where he died.

According to the police Pamhidzai will appear in court soon.
