Reasons Daniel Bryan Will Not Be WWE... |
Both figures achieved considerable success. Guevara was instrumental during the Cuban Revolution that saw Fidel Castro and his allies overthrown the government and adopt a system of communism. Bryan took down the Authority and won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The two accomplishments may not carry the same weight historically, but you get the point.
Unfortunately for Bryan, everything comes to an end eventually. Guevara was captured and executed in Bolivia before achieving all of his goals. Bryan will also fail to accomplish all of his goals, and his run of success will soon come to a conclusion.
Here are ten reasons why Daniel Bryan will not make it through SummerSlam as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Underdog Angle Is Becoming Stale
When you are the king, what is the next step? Daniel Bryan is likely asking himself this question after conquering the Authority and seizing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Prior to WrestleMania, many fans supported Bryan because he was the irreverent underdog who was hell bent on taking down the system. However, it seems that creative has been in a lull since Bryan captured the title, unsure of what to do now that he is the face of the company.
Bryan’s feud with Kane seemed to lack inspiration, and the involvement of Brie Bella could indicate that the writers were grasping at straws in an attempt to inject some life into the program. The storyline was awfully similar to a Zach Ryder angle from a few years prior, and it produced one of the most embarrassing and unbelievable promos in the history of the company when Kane attempted to hide in Bryan’s car and abduct his wife Brie. With the underdog angle running on empty, fans will have to wait and see if Bryan can retain interest going forward.
